#Mass effect andromeda pc freezing full
The N7 arms, legs, and helmet have the same bonuses and provide 7% increased shields and biotic power damage after a full upgrade. The N7 chest piece increases shields by 10%, biotic power damage by 8%, and biotic recharge speed by 15% after fully upgraded. The N7 armor is also upgradeable for additional research points. The chest piece costs 100 points and the other three pieces cost 50 each. The iconic N7 armor from the original trilogy can be found under the Milky Way galaxy tab and requires a total of 250 Milky Way research points to unlock the entire set. Once you are on the Tempest spaceship, go to the Research and Development terminal next to Liam to learn and craft weapons and armor. You can also do this where enemies are standing close together so you can hit them all before the flamethrower runs out. Make sure to set the difficulty to Normal or higher or else the enemies will die before they start to burn. Every drop ship has at least a few enemies jumping off it at the same time. This can be done on the very first dropship in "Chapter 1: Planetfall" (Habitat 7). You encounter a lot of dropships throughout the game. Wait under a dropship and when the enemies jump out, immediately use the flamethrower on them. Lighting three enemies on fire with one continuous flamethrower attack works best with enemy dropships. The Flamethrower (Tech) skill is required to get the "Pyrotechnics Expert" trophy. Stop using the Cryo Beam just before the enemy's health is depleted or else it will kill them. You will know they are frozen when they fall to the ground, unable to move. Set the difficulty to Normal or higher or else enemies will die before freezing. The enemy has to die from this attack to get the trophy. Then, press X to jump and Triangle to perform a melee attack. Use the Cryo Beam skill to freeze an enemy. The Cryo Beam (Tech) skill is required to get the "Icebreaker" trophy. I find the game okay but I would still like to finish it without fearing that I am torturing my PC. I usually have barely audible coil whine.Īny help is welcome. My PC is stable in all other games and benchmarks. It reduces the coil whine but barely helps with the crashes.ĬPU and GPU get 1-3☌ hotter while running ME:A but are well within acceptable range. I have been using a reduced GPU OC profile for the game since, as well as testing no OC at all. It even spontaneously restarted the entire system once. Crashes or freezes occur mostly in animated loading scenes. One time, the game crashed repeatedly after about 5 seconds in the gear select menu before landing on a planet (avoided by skipping through the menu and using it at a forward station). It gets a lot quieter after loading is finished. Loud additional coil whine is audible when starting the game and when loading large 3D scenes. For 1-2 weeks now, the game has been crashing every couple of hours. I am currently playing through Mass Effect: Andromeda. I know my way around PCs but this exceeds my knowledge. I just joined the LTT forum because I need help with an issue that I have with Mass Effect: Andromeda.
